You can rest easy knowing your card number is never stored on your device, on Apple servers or shared with merchants. And, Apple won’t keep transaction records that tie back to you. How do you set up Apple Pay?

Set up your Apple Wallet with your ANZ debit card, credit card – or both. You can add multiple cards to your Apple Wallet and set a default card for mobile payments too. Don’t forget to add other cards, like your Rewards cards, so you don’t miss out on points.

Set up Apple Pay on your iPhone

Use the ANZ App

01. Select the account you’d like to pay from

How do you use
Apple Pay?

In-store

  • Pay with your iPhone: Double-click the side button, authenticate with Face ID or your passcode (for Touch ID, double-click the Home button), then hold the top of your iPhone near the reader to pay.
  • Pay with your Apple Watch: Double-click the side button, then hold the display of your Apple Watch near the contactless reader to pay.

Online or in apps

  • Pay with your iPhone: Use Face ID, Touch ID or enter your passcode.
  • Pay with your Apple Watch: Simply double-click the side button.

Apple Pay is a secure way to pay. Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode is required for purchases on your iPhone, Apple Watch, Mac or iPad. Your card number and identity aren’t shared with merchants, and your actual card numbers aren’t stored on your device or on Apple servers.

It’s simple. Just add an eligible ANZ debit or credit card to the Wallet app on your iPhone. And remember to add your cards to any other Apple devices you want to use with Apple Pay. It works on iPhone, Apple Watch, Mac and iPad.
